What can i do to put more traction in my basketball shoes? They just slip and slide all over the place.?

my basketball shoes are about a year old and they have lost almost all traction. Im gonna go buy somo new ones but I hav'nt had time to go buy them because of exams etc. and I have a basketball game today so I need to put some traction into these old ones. Is there anything I can do to prevent them from slipping around the floor?

put a little watter on the bottom and scrape them on the gym floor...
Reply:ur just gana have to lick ur hands and rub it againts the bottom of the shoe or

befor the game wipe the bottom with water it gets them a little harder to slide
Reply:if you have no time order them on line or you get a special pad to put on the bottom of your shoes. you could also get a sticky mat and rub your shoes against them every time you play.
Reply:scratch the bottom

models do that to their heels so they don't slip

don't go crazy with the scratching

maintenance repairs
