Try second-hand or "thrift" stores. Lots of times the things people donate are not used at all, or have been used only very little. This is especially true when an executor of an estate clears out personal property. They donate it because it is just too much trouble, or too wrenching emotionally, to hold a garage sale or go to a flea market to sell things. The small amount of money is just not worth the hassle.
