I am planning on buying a basketball shoes...?

I am planning on buying a basketball shoes... I don't play basketball too often and I am not that good... I need some recommendation on the shoes... I want shoes in range of economical cost... not too expensive... not too cheap...





and I've heard it helps you on jumping by a lot... is it true or not?

if you mean basketball, i play basketball and it surely helped me.
Reply:That jumping stuff is Bull, your calves and the surface your playing on (Like Hardwood indoors as opposed to blacktop outdoors) makes a difference.





Shaq's And-ones are some comfortable ballin shoes. (The Logo has a guy hanging on the Rim after a slam with legs apart) pretty economical too. I would suggest 3/4 for some ankle support. Nike also has some styles not that expensive in the $55 to $75.00 Range.

Reply:You can't go wrong with Nike high/mid tops. The Air Max are definitely the best value and I think they are on sale now on Eastbay for like $80 (normally they are over $100). But if those are too expensive, go for the Nike Air Ups... you can't beat 'em for $50.





PS- Not true, does not help your vert. In basketball shoes you wanna look for good grip on the soles (for speed) and durability.
