Looking for good basketball shoes?

I'm a male and I am looking for a very good pair of basketball shoes(under $150). I am looking for white/red pair or anything similar. I'm playing at high school level.

White/red pair? Sounds like you should get Kobe Zoom I in Red, white, and BLACK colorway. An extremely popular choice and protect your ankle very well and at the same time let you move at your will. But dont wear them for outside because you will wear the traction technology out(anti-slippery kind but they do get wore out each time).





If you are a fast-guard type with a quick pair of feet, then go with the nike zoom B, the latest generation trend that's vastly popular in NBA. They are only under 110 bucks but if you wait for the right time at footlocker, they can go on sales for 30-40 percent off. Steve Nash, Jason Kidd, Deron Williams, and Ben Gordon are wearing them right now. Big guards like K. Azubuike from Warriors or Jason Richardson are wearing them as well. I have heard they have great ankle supports but, I have seen players getting ankle sprains from them and then bounced back the next few days. Hard to say if the ankle support are reliable once you have actually tried them on. I dont think there's any red/white colorway unless you lived in Chicago and you can get one of those ben Gordon PE color.





The other good white/red pair wouold be any Lebron Zoom I-V. I have V and wearing them felt like the sky is the limit haha but get one size bigger because you will get blisters. 140 bucks pricey though. Or get white/red/black LeBron II if you want the total package in great look, great ankle support and the right colorway even traction that's if footlocker ever sell them.

Reply:Any Nike Shoe. Signature Series and Air force ones are hot now. Pickyourshoes.com has tons of cool basketball shoes. I'm buying some Dwayne wade special editon converse shoes for $35!

Reply:Nike's always been good but any shoe over $100 is good enough. I've worn $50 basketball shoes and I do just as well. $150 shoes are just for looks but if you have the money, get the best looking ones you can. Performance-wise, Adidas, Reebook, and any big shoe company has good shoes.
