Basketball shoes and clothes?

Ok so i play basketball everyday for at least an hour. But every time i play i hurt my ankles because of my shoes, all i have is Nike 6.0%26#039;s(skateboarding shoes). And every time i play a game everyone thinks i suck because i have crappy shoes, and don%26#039;t wear basketball clothes.





So i know a good place to get that kind of stuff is footlocker, but what kind of shoes are really good? And what kind of clothes should i get?

All these websites I%26#039;ve used so I know they work. I got my shoes from Champs but if you got a under $20 budget get some Starburys.
