What basketball shoes should i get????

Im a girl


5%26#039;6 and is about 130 pounds





Im currently playing for my schools junior team, and will be playin for high school next year


so obviously i am in 8th grade





Im not sure of what basketball shoe i should get... looks matters but it doesnt have to be super sexy and all that


all i care is i need a comfortable pair that wont hurt my foot and would protect my ankle.





would u suggest high tops??





please give me the list of shoes and the reasons why i should get it?

What basketball shoes should i get????
well, there are some factors that you must take into consideration.. first, what position do you play?


second, what%26#039;s your budget?


third, where are you playing? indoors or outdoors?





I%26#039;m not a super expert, but i know enough to realize what shoes i think best suit me..





admittedly, i am a jordan guy





but that doesn%26#039;t mean that you have to specifically buy Jordans but yea..





see, for example, I%26#039;m a guard type.. i do a lot of sprints, stutter steps, cross-overs, laterals, slides and jumping diving on the floor cuts quick jump stops and yea.. as it is arguably the most arduous position of the five, performance and comfort are important to me.. i don%26#039;t want to twist any ankles, but i also don%26#039;t like that feeling of burns under the arches of my feet..





i have to say that there%26#039;s three pairs that i would give my ok on.. the first two are from Nike; the Zoom Kobe 1s and the LeBron 4s..





The difference?





Kobe%26#039;s kicks are lighter, but you get a better feel for the floor.. the performance is outstanding, as you get to move freely without feeling a lot of strain on your feet.. and, the pair is probably the most comfortable i%26#039;ve worn since the Hurrache 2k5s..





Meanwhile, the Lebron 4s give you a powerful feel, as compared to the finesse feel of the ZK1s.. although much heavier, the foamposite material around the shoe becomes almost a type of protection that lets you power through the defense..





finally, the third shoe.. the Gilbert Arenas signature Adidas sneakers..





they%26#039;re low-tops, the way Agent Zero likes them.. but the biggest factor is the extra-thick sides, which would be perfect if you run on the sides of your feet.. you may not run that way, which is why i suggested three shoes for you..





but the jordans are perfect for style and comfort you really cant go wrong with any pair of jordans they all look good and fell good even the mellos. and most of those shoes are mid highs and i like those because they arent to high or to low so they keep my ankles feeling good





what ever you do dont buy those 15 starburys kuz they suck i always get blisters on my feet from those horrible shoes. they say they are made like jordans and they arent lol
