Basketball shoes?

Does the Nike Shox Elite II give more traction or less traction than the Nike Shox Elite I?

Does the coloring of the outsole have anything to do with the amount of traction? i.e. Can I get more traction with a white outsole then a black outsole or blue outsole?

How can I increase the amount of traction for these shoes?

Basketball shoes?
I have had both, and there is more traction in the Nike Shox Elite II. The coloring has absolutely nothing to do with it. Well, the only way you can temporarily increased the traction is by wetting your feet before you play. But also, I would say that there is a downside to the Elites: their weight. They are pretty heavy..I mean in a sense it could help the strength in your legs slightly, but they%26#039;re a little challenging to play in after a while, especially if you%26#039;re really tired.
