Not using the right kind of athletic equipment (this goes for any sport) will add to the risk of injury. bball shoes are specifically designed to adapt to the rigors of the game which include a lot of running, jumping, laterals, and all sorts of leg movements. the soles are designed to prevent you from slipping and to cushion your feet when you come down from a jump. some soles improve traction and even allow your feet to %26quot;breathe%26quot;.





though, i might not suggest for you to go for cheap shoes. your shoes are the most basic equipments of your game. i think it would be best for you to shell out a bit of cash to get really good ones. it would be like an investment for you. besides, nothing beats the feeling of the adrenaline rush you get from stepping on to the court in a pair of sweeeet air jordans! :)

Reply:hi , to anwser your question i qould reccomend not using those shoes for many reasons, those shoes dont have ankle support and they arent meant for running, also they have holes which arent for basketball. if you really want some cheap basketball shoes i reccomend starburys%26#039; from stephon marbury. they are really good basketball shoes that they sell at the mall for about $15. the store name is steve and barrys

NOOOOOOOOOOOO. do not get those. get some real basketball shoes. if the basketball bounces off your foot, it will hurt. its hard to run in those. i say get nikes. adidas are cool, but they%26#039;re really slippery. to play basketball, you dont need pretty shoes, you need real basketball shoes. thats what i recommend
